Special Education, M.A.T.

NCE offers three versions of the Special Education, M.A.T program:

• The Special Education, M.A.T. (Alternative Teacher Licensure) is for candidates accepted into one of NLU’s alternative teacher licensure partner programs

• The Special Education, M.A.T. (Resident Teacher Program) is offered in partnership with the Academy of Urban School Leadership (AUSL)

• The Special Education, M.A.T. (Traditional Program) is appropriate for most candidates
