Health Services Administration Concentration

The concentration courses in Health Services Administration allow students to acquire skills and competencies in research methodology and writing, healthcare business operations, and project management application. The concentration helps students identify and develop the requisite skills to engage in, research, writing, healthcare business operations, and project management. 

Concentration Details:

  • Requires 15 QH for completion
  • 15 QH must be taken at NLU
  • Requires a minimum grade of “C” for each course in the concentration

Note: The same courses may not be used to satisfy the concentration and program major requirements.

Note: Students completing the undergraduate courses with a Health Services Administration concentration are eligible to have these courses applied to degree requirements both in their current undergraduate program and, upon meeting eligibility criteria and acceptance, to the specifically designed NLU graduate program. This concentration serves as an advanced pathway to the Master of Health Services Administration (M.H.A.) program. Students should contact their Academic Advisor for details as certain rules apply.
