SCIK 223 Life Span Nutrition

This course builds on the foundation nutrition course to discuss the nutritional needs through the life cycle. It focuses on infants through geriatrics to determine the changes and requirements that occur during growth, reproduction, and aging. The role of nutrition in health and disease and nutrition throughout the life cycle are examined in detail. Prerequisite: SCI 123. 4 quarter hours
