EDU 210CB Historical and Cultural Influences on Child Growth & Development

This course is designed for early childhood professionals to demonstrate competency describing the interrelationship between developmental domains as a part of typical and atypical growth and development with a focus on culture and family. Other key competencies include historical contexts for early childhood education, theories of growth and development, cultural/linguistic responsiveness, and the impact of trauma and protective factors on growth and development . This course is covers the following Gateways to Opportunities ECE Credential Competencies: FRCR2, FCR3, HGD1, HGD2, HGD3, PPD2. NOTE: this course is only open to students in the ECE Competency-Based program.
